So you say Suburbans can do everything a pick up can eh? Do really want this in your Suburban?

Kinja'd!!!

Came from this. 1 and 1/2 face chord of fire wood for the summer months for my grandparents and one of their neighbours. 8’ bed filled basically from end to end, bed rail high. 5 rows of wood. Didn’t feel any real difference in its ride.

Bonus F150 I finally got a picture of.

I have carried a cord of wood in a Volvo station wagon, and there’s a local stone mason who drives a 240 wagon with heavy-duty springs as his work vehicle. I have seen it full to the window line from front seats to hatch with bricks. I have personally stacked *TWO* cords in the bed of an ‘86 Mazda B2200 extendcab and driven it 40 miles over a mountain. The brakes were just about gone by the other side, but the ride was fine and that little truck had perfect gearing so it even went OK... I’ve had a Troy-Built Horse (largest model they make) in the back of my '11 Hyundai Elantra Touring for 200 miles, and two goats in the back of my FieSTa.

your full size pickup truck 1/2 full of wood does not impress me. ShopVacs and tarps do wonders.

I put 1000 of horse hair plaster in the back of my truck. There is no way I would ever want that inside a car.

Your thoughts on the new F-150 front end styling.

I took the back seat out of my 1997 monte carlo and loaded it with two extra long coolers of drinks and ice, a couple stacks of folding chairs, and various camping supplies to haul stuff for our fraternity camp out and drove down a dozen miles of rutted, muddy trail to get to the camp site. I then realized we were one seat short so I unbolted the passenger seat and had the best camping chair for the week. I’m in the red shirt. Easily the most comfortable chair at the campfire during hangover breakfast. I put her back together and hauled ass 200 miles back home without missing a beat. My W-body laughs at your need for a pickup.

Depends on the trim and package it has on it. I prefer the 3-bar style and the Lariat and up models. Don’t care for it on the new Raptor though.

Okay, I’ll throw down the same basic target I liked to walk over - V6 mustangs from the late 90s to early 2000s. Crush them. Make them cry. Lick their tears when their big bad V6 muscle car is spanked thoroughly.

For the most part I am OK with it. I have a hard time with the plastic extensions that go into the headlight area. Maybe it will grow on me. The LED headlight option is amazing at night.

Raptor, never cared that much for it although the six inch wider body and bed would seem advantageous.

I think the head light thing looks good on the tri-bar grill. Looks off on the XLT ones. Honestly the least favourite part of it for me. I just wish I could get the wheels I’d buy with a chrome bumper instead of painted.

I concur with car seats being the most comfy seat for any use. The recliner I have in my room is the driver’s seat from my friends 97-ish Lumina, that I claimed when he was gutting the car for its build into a short track racecar.

It’s awesome for movies/gaming/etc. It’s even leather! And it still has the seat controls, which I really want to wire up to do something.

I’ve put nearly 30 bags of wet mulch in the back of the 4Runner, so if I had a Suburban, probably.

Definitely saying it’s not impossible as my dad had 16 bags of soil in just the part behind the seats in his Mountaineer but I’d rather do it in a pick up because all the shit’s outside and I prefer regular old pickups.

Get the wireless versions that are USB rechargeable. Then ANY seat can be popular with the ladies. Turns out the recaros in a FiST make excellent sex chairs. A little help from a wireless massager and you’d be amazed at how well two people can make sexy times in the passenger seat of a Fiesta ST.

Spray on liner is the best. Had it in my S10, and will get it in the Silverado when the funds are available. True it is permanent but it turns out great.

I think he had it in the Dakota but this just works out best with the 5th wheel hitch mounts. Reasons for the holes in the rug in the first picture.
